Does the administration have to appoint a pro-choice Supreme Court nominee to shake Republicans out of the myopia through which they view the nature of this Presidency? It seems that only cultural issues matter any more for most conservative voters. "Screw fiscal responsibility, we're against abortion!" seems to be the rallying cry of most Republicans.
